A Purple Dinner

Story Information

The restaurant's considered one of the best in Manhattan. High-quality food, very expensive, very delicious. So naturally, it would attract the attention of one of its worst residents; a man clad in purple. Upon the man’s appearance, many of the staff instantly recognized that purple suit anywhere, and grew fearful. As usual, he was holding some poor woman with him, on one of his twisted “dates.” As if anyone would freely choose to be with him.

He immediately locked eyes with the hostess, and told her to bring him to his usual seat. She obliged with a smile, though there were people already sitting there. He told them to move, and they moved. The purple man shoved all of the tableware of the previous group’s to the floor, and shouted for a waitress to come clean the mess up. As one did so, the chef came out from the kitchen to the table. “Mr. Kilgrave, I was not expecting you…” he said, trembling.

Kilgrave smiled and said, “Of course not, Chef Zombardi! Here, I’d like to introduce you to my date, Anna Hendricks. Shake hands.” The two nodded and shook hands, before turning back to Kilgrave. He continued, “As usual, I will have my favorite-- you remember, yes?” The chef nodded. “And also, she’ll try the Rigatoni con la Pajata. And your best wine for both of us!” He nodded again, and hurried back to the kitchen. As he left, Kilgrave noticed the group of four that were awkwardly standing near the table, unsure what to do. It was a group of guys, none of them particularly notable, Kilgrave thought. Well, except the fat bloke. “‘Ey, all of you go sit somewhere else, where I can’t see your sorry faces. Except, you, fat man.”

All the others obliged, and went off searching for an empty seat somewhere. Kilgrave said, “You, what’s your name?” The large man stuttered out, “J-Jerry.” Kilgrave gave a breath of amusement, and continued, “Jerry? Heh, okay, Jerry. Tell you what, you’re a big ol’ hungry fucker, aren’t ya?” He nodded slowly. “Yeah, okay. So, how about, you go and get enough food to fill you up, huh? Go eat off everyone else’s plates. They don’t need it.” Jerry proceeded to then turn to the very next table, and start eating their food.

As the large man walked away, Kilgrave turned back to his ‘date.’ “So, where were we? Oh, yes. Our first date! This restaurant is great, ain’t it? I discovered this place a while back, few years maybe. Fantastic food, good atmosphere, and no rambunctious children or anything in a restaurant like this.” He glanced over at Jerry, chowing away at various people’s plates, much to their displeasure. He chuckled and said, “Well, except maybe that guy. But yeah, good place. How do you like it?”

Anna replied with a smile, “It’s a nice restaurant. Fancy.” Kilgrave leaned in and said, “Well, only the best for you, my dear. Tell me, what about me? How do you like me?” She frowned, and her face seemed to contort around. She finally managed to get out, “I hate you.” Kilgrave scoffed, leaning back. “Well, that’s a bit rude, don’t you think? No, you’re just hungry! Here, tell me you love me.” Her face contorted again, but it turned into a half-sincere smile and she said, “I love you.” Kilgrave clasped her hands together and said, “That’s better.”

He continued on with various ‘first date’ questions and also the occasional ego booster. Her responses were getting on his nerves quite a bit. He just wasn’t feeling it. Even under his control, they were still rather opposite in preferences. This wasn’t going to work out, he thought to himself. Still, he had her for a while longer, so he just had to think of something to amuse himself with. He was starting to produce some rather horrid ideas when Jerry returned to the tableside.

“What is it, Jerry?” he said, agitatedly. Jerry just mumbled out, “I ate everyone else’s food.” Kilgrave peered around the man, and noted that indeed, everyone else’s plates were empty. Many of the other patrons were leaving actually, which was fine by him. He looked back at Jerry, then down at his belly. Even the man’s large shirt seemed to not be enough to hold it anymore. Kilgrave said, “Huh. So what, are you still hungry after all that?” Jerry nodded. Kilgrave rubbed his chin, turning aside to his date and saying, “Wow, you Americans sure do like it big, huh?” The two answered, “Yes,” and Kilgrave just shook his head.

“Okay, tell you what, how about you go get your friends? Actually, no, tell me their names please.” “Um, Aaron, Kevin, and Mike.” Kilgrave cleared his throat and then shouted, “Aaron, Kevin, and Mike! Come back over here!” He heard chairs in the distance shift as they collectively started heading over. When they arrived, Kilgrave took a look at Jerry’s belly, and then at the three other men. “Alright, here’s what you’re gonna do. In alphabetical order, one at a time, shove yourselves down his throat. And Jerry, help them down as much as you can. Oh, but move to the side, I see my food coming.”

As Aaron started trying to work himself into Jerry’s awaiting maw, Zombardi returned with their dishes and drinks. “H-Here you go, sir.” “Thank you, Mr. Zombardi! Please, won’t you stay a while? Jerry and his friends are putting on a show.” The chef nodded, and took a seat nearby, though he was very uncomfortable. As was Anna, though Kilgrave was just eating and drinking. He noticed Anna being fixated on the spectacle, and told her, “Come now Anna, eat your dinner. Don’t want to let the good chef’s food go to waste.” Despite that, whenever he took a sip from his wine, he would take a minute to watch the process. He was really rather amazed, I mean, swallowing a whole human, alive? He chuckled to himself and resumed eating.

While he was about halfway through his dinner, he finally heard a belch come from Jerry. He laughed, “Oh Jerry, such a pig! Did erm, what’s-his-name, Aaron taste good?” Jerry said, “Yes,” though it was muffled as Kevin started shoving his arms down his throat. “Don’t talk with your mouth full, Jerry,” Kilgrave responded. Jerry nodded, and they both went back to eating. One eating small, dignified bites of finely crafted food, and another brazenly swallowing down a whole human raw.

Kilgrave looked around at the reactions, they always amused him. Chef Zombardi seemed extremely uncomfortable, maybe he’d even pass out. His date was dutifully eating, though her eyes would nervously dart to Jerry’s meal every so often. Jerry himself was too busy chowing down on Kevin, but he noticed some tears from his eyes. Kevin himself seemed rather eager to cram himself down Jerry. He was up to his chest now, legs waving around as an attempt to further himself. Inside Jerry, Kilgrave could see faint struggles of Aaron through the bottom of Jerry’s gut, which was protruding under his shirt. Even that made Kilgrave grimace a bit. Lastly, Mike had an alternating look of nervous impatience and disgust. Right as he was about to go back to eating, he saw Kevin’s shoes slip in, and disappear down Jerry’s throat with one last gulp. Mike started following immediately.

Kilgrave took a bite of his own food, and then said, “Wow. You’re really going to town on your friends there, big guy. Hey Anna, what do you think about all that?” She stopped eating and took a good long look at Jerry, who was only just now starting to reach Mike’s head. She saw his arms bulging inside Jerry’s neck, and she could see all sorts of lumps as the two already inside struggled. She turned back to Kilgrave and said, “I think it’s sick. You’re a horrible, horrible person. I hope you--” He cut her off saying, “Alright, alright, I get it. Really, you’re not the least bit interested? Man swallows two guys whole and you’re focused on me?” She nodded angrily. He just said, “Alright, just calm yourself down, finish your dinner. I’ll figure something out.”

He finished his meal before Jerry finished his, so he just decided to watch him finish off Mike while sipping rest of his wine. “I wonder, what do you think it’s like in there? I couldn’t fathom fitting even one person in my gut, let alone three! Hey, Jerry, how about you unbutton your shirt there, so we can see everything that’s going on in there.” Jerry complied, taking his hands off of Mike’s legs for a moment, while he started working at his shirt. When he finished, it revealed quite the large gut, and much more activity.

Kilgrave actually exclaimed, “Wow! Jesus fuck, look at that! God, and people call me a freak!” He side-eyed Anna with that comment, who was still finishing her food. Kilgrave watched with disgust and fascination as he saw the last man get slurped right into Jerry’s mouth, popping off a shoe. Then as Jerry’s throat shrunk back to normal, with Mike’s feet descending into his stomach. Jerry had to sit down on the floor, and his belly reached all the way to his feet. He let out a loud belch.

“Man Jerry, you did a good job on those friends of yours,” Kilgrave said, though Jerry seemed too busy holding his gut, apologizing into it, and sobbing. “Oh please, Jerry, stop crying and being sorry for yourself. That was a compliment!” As Jerry obliged, his belly’s gurgles and glorps filled the air in his absence. “Hmm hmm hmm! There’s the Jerry I know, always hungry for more!” He turned over to Anna, and said, “Hey Anna, you have your phone, right love?” She nodded. “Alright! Now, Anna, what I’m gonna want you to do is I need you to take some pictures for me of the inside Jerry’s belly here. Make sure they’re good! I really wanna see what Jerry’s buddies are up to in there. Text them to me when you’re done.

And uh, Chef. I think Jerry here’s just exhausted after eating three dudes, so you can help Anna here get inside him, while Jerry can just… relax.” Jerry started to lay down on the ground, but then his struggling occupants forced him to lean back up. Kilgrave frowned, then shouted at his belly, “And you three in there should settle down! Being food for this man’s probably just about the greatest thing you’ve ever done in your life, so enjoy it!” Jerry’s stomach settled back down, leaving only the occasional lump from the shape of the people inside. As Anna positioned herself over Jerry’s mouth and Zombardi started working her in there, he left the restaurant. He wouldn’t want to be there for the aftermath.
