It's About Technique

Story Information

Lake Acuity was rumored to be a place of knowledge in itself. Even if the guardians had left their lakes, the lakes themselves were still valuable. A lone pignite had hiked his way across Unova and Sinnoh, seeking this lake. Pilot wanted to know something for himself that nobody seemed to have the answer to. And he was finally there. The lake was as beautiful as he expected, sparkling in the sun. As he approached the lake, the light suddenly faded. He looked up in the sky and gray clouds blocked out the sunlight. A calm voice from behind him said, “What is it that you seek?”

Despite the calmness, Pignite jumped and turned around. There was a sleek Dragonair there, staring straight ahead and waiting for his answer. Pilot said, “Oh, um, I was looking for knowledge.” The dragonair’s orbs seemed to glow faintly, and she said, “Well, young pignite, I am the guardian of this lake. My name is Apate. What questions do you have?” He glanced back at the lake, then at Apate. “Oh, I was just,” he stammered, “wondering, what am I going to accomplish in… life? Or um, like, what’s my destiny?”

The dragonair gave a cool smile, and said, “It’s a common question and an understandable one. Look in the water of the lake. There will your answer lie.” Pilot blinked and nodded. He turned back to the lake, and peered over the edge of the water. The water no longer sparkled, but it was still crystal clear. He saw himself, rough and tired. Hungry. His hike across two regions might have been for naught, and the thought upset him. Apate cooed, “What do you see?” He responded, “I-I don’t see anything. Just me, tired. I-I wonder if this might be the end.”

She said, “I believe you’re right,” and then thick, cool coils wrapped around his body. It forced out a cough, and he could see the dragonair’s body wrapped around him. Her head appeared in the reflection next to his. She whispered to him, “This is the end, for you.” She cackled and moved back, then flipped him around in his coils to face her. Apate revealed her full length now, her head above the pignite, coiling him, and still body to spare. “Oh, you really thought that the lake was magic? You have nothing for life. A pitiful waste of meat… until now.

She cackled once again, shorter, “Oh, you dumb pig, this isn’t even the lake of knowledge! This is Lake Valor! Do you see any snow around here?” She rotated the pignite around on his behalf with her coils. “Here, so you don’t feel so bad.” Snow started to sky from the dark clouds above, melting on contact with the pignite. “Oh, you were in desperate need of some knowledge, weren’t you?” Pignite was just sunken. Apate kept going on with her insults, but Pignite barely paid attention. He felt each flake of snow as it melted on his flesh, lightly burning. Moreso, his torso was being crushed. He took shallow, wheezing breaths, and felt cooler in his core.

She briefly squeezed him tighter, which made a brief puff of fire appear at his lips. “Are you listening to me? Maybe not. I don’t think I’ve crushed the life out of you yet, but you might just be that weak.” She watched him, he wasn’t making eye contact at all and breathed laboriously. She smiled at her own handiwork. She licked her lips and went on, “Fear not, pignite. Soon, your suffering will be over. And you will become infinitely more valuable, providing mass and energy for myself.” Pilot continued to stare down, but he felt warmer. The snow hitting him felt soothing now, warm even. He looked up, into the dragonair’s eyes. She was smiling devilishly and the orb on her neck glowed brightly.

Internally, she was slightly unnerved by her prey’s stare. He spoke finally as firmly as he could with his limited breath, “You think you’re so great, just because you’re bigger than me… Made to eat pokemon like me… But you’re not.” Apate was taken aback by this, but she maintained her appearance. Pilot noticed her orb slightly fade. She reared her head backwards and said, “And yet, you’re the hog all tied up. She squeezed tighter again, and the crack of a bone could be heard. He sucked his teeth in response. She grinned wildly, and continued, “You’ll be a delicious meal, big piggy. And that’s all you’ll ever be.”

As she stretched her jaws wide and dived at Pilot, he opened his own mouth as wide as he could. He received a rather wet and rubbery taste across his tongue. Apate felt a horrid warm slime across her belly. She was horrified to feel the pulsating mass beneath her, and she flinched with every beat. He noticed her tail’s orbs stop glowing and began to violently writhe around. He took note of this and swallowed her down, though the short horn scratched his throat a bit. Despite this, he swallowed her determinedly.

Apate was absolutely freaking out now, having lost any guise of a confident predator. She uncoiled her prey and he took a deep breath, only serving to swallow her further. It was easy for him, her slick body made it not much more than a thick strand of spaghetti. His discomfort quickly passed, into his stomach to be exact. He could still feel her horn against the walls of his stomach, but that was thicker. She could feel her body rapidly joining the sticky wet heat of the pignite. She could feel the repeating crushing pressure of his throat down her body. Inside, he could see his stomach’s flame. It made the mucus on the stomach walls glisten, giving her a detailed view of it, as well as the ridged texture and pink color.

Pilot could feel his stomach filling up as the still-writhing dragonair continued down his throat. Each loop of her piling in his belly made him feel better and better. The weather had cleared up, now that the influence was smothered by flesh. The warm sunlight only served to encourage him. Fifteen feet of dragon. He felt great, full of pride. Full of food. He rubbed a paw over his belly, which was tight and starting to stretch. In particular, three tubular rows stuck out of his belly. As her tail came up to his lips, he took a moment to lick around the tail’s orbs. They tasted like the most delicious water he ever had. He hated to let them go, but they needed to rejoin the rest of them. Glulllp.

At last, the last of her was squeezed out of the throat. At this point, Apate’s body was very tightly coiled in his gut and she could feel his flame somewhere beneath him. It was uncomfortably warm overall, not to mention the humidity of it. She never imagined herself on the inside of another pokemon. Such an elegant predator. A dragon! Eaten by a pig. She couldn’t writhe around much now, but she furiously headbutted the walls. It was a shame to her, damaging her wings like this, but there was nothing else she could do. Unfortunately, all this accomplished was a wet URRRRP she could hear. Her space constricted slightly, but ultimately didn’t budge. Either way, she knew from experience there was no point in degrading herself further.

As the struggling from within ceased, he was mildly disappointed. He was enjoying his lively pasta. He would press on a ring of dragon through his flesh and she would flinch, so he knew that she was still alive. She had merely surrendered herself to his body. He held his gut and said, “Not so high and mighty now, Ms. Divine?” No response but the rumbling of belly, no doubt starting to work her down. He yawned. He felt a deep warmness at his core, and it lulled him to sleep on the lakeside.

When he woke up it was sunset, though he immediately saw the Lake Valor, still sparkling a beautiful orange-purple. He walked over to the lake and saw himself. He was smiling happily, and his gut sagged slightly over his waist. He shook it, listening to the glorps and sloshing. He gave a long belch, and three blue crystal orbs ejected from his mouth onto the water. He pulled them out, rotating them in his hand. He licked them, tasting again the water and recalling the feeling of his dragon prey. He adorned the three decorations across his head, just below his ears. He looked at his reflection, and he liked it very much. He felt stronger than ever, if not more knowledgeable. He slapped his belly again and left the lake behind him.
