Chasing That Feeling
Story Information
Grizz was popular. His polar bear brother didn't approve of it very much, but he was getting plenty of fame and fortune through the desires of random people on the internet. And... he was getting plenty of fat too. His lower body was a sizable, rotund dome that made his size nearly double what it was before all this started. Over the course of some months, Grizz had probably eaten a dozen or so people, not all of them aware he had actually digested his other brother that one time. Fortunately Ice Bear was available to pull them out, if they wanted... sometimes. He hadn't worked off a bit of fat since he started, so Panda was still somewhere on his gut, but so were many others.
That said, he still felt empty somehow. He was laying down in bed on his phone, just scrolling through his social media of past meals. He chuckled a little to himself, thinking about how Panda used to do that. You are what you eat, he thought. He was feeling unsatisfied with his recent meals. Humans are tasty, and all, but they just lacked a certain oomph. Despite how fattening they are, nothing was quite as filling as when he swallowed Panda back then. Even when he was all melted into a black and white slushy, he still felt filling.
He sighed, wobbling his belly with a free paw. It growled back, hungry as it seems to always be lately. He didn't have any 'meet-ups' set up today, so he would have to make do with regular food. But he just kept thinking about those times with Panda. Even just swallowing him and letting him out later... The full feeling alone was great. He glanced towards his bedroom's door. Ice WAS home today. Grizz knew he didn't approve of, well, everything, but he thought he might be willing to help him out personally.
Getting up, his stomach rumbled eagerly as he gravitated towards the idea. Yeah. He wasn't going to digest him or anything. He just wanted something really filling again. Ice was strong enough to pull himself out when the time came. He wouldn't even put it on social media. Everything should be just fine. No reason to say no!
"No," said Ice Bear.
"Why nooooooot? C'mon bro, I'm hungry," Grizz whined.
His hunger-induced thinking was clearly getting to him. There were more than enough reasons to not voluntarily get eaten, of course. "Ice Bear isn't food. Ice Bear doesn't want to become fat like Panda."
Grizz sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "That was an accident! He started that anyway... This would be different, just for a little while, then you could climb back out. You're strong enough!"
He agreed, though not certainly. His brother was nearly twice his size nowadays, gut alone as wide as he was tall. "Stomach too hot for Ice Bear."
"It's only for a little while! Then you can go and rest in your fridge."
Ice Bear grunted. He wasn't sure he was going to get anywhere rationally with Grizz, he clearly wanted very badly to eat him. He was even starting to drool. "No. Ice Bear isn't food. Find someone else to eat." With that, he folded the newspaper he was reading under his arm, got up, and headed to his fridge. At least in there he could have peace and quiet. Grizz followed him the entire way, begging and still trying to convince him, all the way up until the refrigerator door was slammed in his face.
Grizz moaned loudly in annoyance as the door closed. "Bro? Bro?" He knocked on the door, though he got no response. His stomach grumbled, also annoyed that it wasn't getting its way. The bear grabbed his gut and whispered to it, "I know, I know, I'm hungry too." He turned around, looking around the rest of the kitchen to see if there was anything comparable to eat. Not readily. Not even like a watermelon, though at that point a person would be more filling.
He moaned again. He couldn't even open the fridge door since Ice had locked it from inside somehow. He tried looking around to see if there was some other way. All the other sides were very obviously flat walls. He knew there was a hatch on the bottom, but that would also be sealed from inside, not to mention he probably couldn't fit at this point. And yet he was ever so hungry. He stared at the fridge, the obstacle that it was. As he stared another idea began to creep into his head. One his stomach readily supported and thus started to center his focus on it.
The idea seemed absurd at first, but the more he thought about it, the more possible it seemed. He was pretty big at this point. He'd only been fitting one human (or bear) at a time in his belly, but he was sure he could fit more. In fact... It'd be even more filling! He licked his lips in eager anticipation. This plan seemed perfect. Ice could forgive him later, he was hungry now.
Grizz walked over to the counter next to the fridge and started trying to lift his leg up to climb on top. After some finagling, he managed to barely get one leg up there and heaved his gut up. From there he was able to practically roll over to help the rest of him up, though it was still something of a struggle. After a couple minutes, he was standing up on the counter, much taller than the fridge. He carefully stepped around the sink to get closer, drooling with big eyes as he approached. Finally, he stood over the fridge and began to open his maw as wide as he could. Then he plopped his face down over it.
The idea he and his stomach had come up with was to swallow the entire fridge, brother included, of course. It seemed only natural in his hungry state. And to be sure, he had managed to successfully wrap his mouth around the entire top of it. He made a noise like he was trying to say something, but it was unintelligible due to his mouth being both full and very stretched. Slowly, he started to inch down it. Brown fur replaced grayish plastic, covering up the fridge's manufacturer logo. As he approached its door handle, Grizz found it tickling the back of his throat and gravity tilting him forward. He was starting to look very cartoonishly boxy, though by the end he imagined he'd probably look like a fridge himself. More importantly, he'd be full.
On the inside, Ice Bear was having an enjoyable time leaning back and reading the local news, despite the occasional disturbance by his brother outside. It seemed like he switched from being noisy to doing something to the fridge since it was shifting somewhat, but not enough to disturb his reading. The funnies were particularly funny today, after all. The fridge suddenly shook side-to-side as if to topple, though it restabilized. He figured maybe Grizz was trying to knock over the fridge. He shrugged, considering he still wouldn't be able to get inside. It would just be annoying.
The wobbling was a result of when Grizz was finally forced to be entirely over the fridge, legs dangling in the air and gut hanging loosely. The extra 500 or so pounds flinging into it nearly knocked it off-balance, but it steadied itself. Now Grizz was completely upside-down, with more and more of the appliance sliding into him. He was past the handles now, very visible in his throat. The top of the fridge was entering his stomach now, much to its pleasure. It was unfortunate the fridge wasn't tasty at all, but the size more than made up for it and it admittedly had a tasty core hidden away inside. It was even somewhat warm on the outside, much like a person would be. Though in just a moment, his lips would pass over the wire and yank out the power.
Ice Bear started to notice the fridge wasn't working quite as well as normal. Though it was still cold, it was getting warm enough for the ice cubes under him to start sliding around as they melted. He reached a paw up to the vent above his head. Still blowing, but struggling it sounded like. He wondered if Grizz had messed something up with his antics. Then the fridge abruptly shut off entirely, leaving him in the dark. He tried to pull on the light switch, but nothing happened. He made a short displeased sound, though he bet he knew what was happening. Grizz was trying to get him outside. Very persistent. "Fine, Ice Bear will come out," he said, undoing the lock. The door didn't give much. Not enough for him to see anything. "Hmm. Ice Bear is stuck?"
Grizz winced a bit from the slight movement of the door. His jaw was stretched as far as he thought it could go and every bit extra was not very comfortable. Thankfully, he didn't have much left to go, so he would be able to relax soon. He tried to provide an explanation, but he didn't think it was audible let alone understandable. His throat worked along with gravity to move the fridge further down into his belly, which was easily expanding to accompany it. Gulp... Gulp... Gulp... At this point, his legs were dangling very awkwardly off the side of what seemed to be a very tall, furry box. It was an arduous process, but it was going to be so worth it.
In the meantime, his brother attempted to solve the mystery of what was happening to the fridge. He couldn't seem to get the door to move much at all, even knocking into it with his shoulder, though it made the rest of the fridge shake and he could hear Grizz complaining somewhere nearby. Fortunately, he knew an alternate exit. He cleared the melting ice on the ground to reveal a metal hatch. It led to his semi-secret chamber, which was mostly just a very fancy bathroom, but it would still help him get somewhere else for the time being. He started to turn the wheel when all of a sudden his world flipped on its side.
There was a screech of tearing metal too as the fridge detached from the other end of the hatch. Grizz, trying to finally finish his meal, had purposefully turned and shifted his center of balance so that he would fall down to the ground. He landed belly-first, making the fridge's right side face-down. All the fat on his stomach helped cushion the fall a little, though the very solid object inside his stomach hurt. Now, he had a very nice angle to finish the job. Only the very bottom of the fridge remained outside.
Ice Bear, by comparison, didn't have as far to fall, but only had the hard inside of the fridge to hit. He rubbed his head, but quickly recovered as he needed to get out now. Gripping the wheel with both paws, he quickly opened the hatch, revealing the torn up connection to his secret room as well as the part of the kitchen where the fridge once stood. He started to crawl forward across the 'ground' when he heard a very audible GULP now that there was an opening. The polar bear froze in his tracks as he heard that. There's no way that... The sound repeated itself and his eyes widened as he saw pink flesh, white teeth, and a pillowy tongue appear on the edges of his exit. He quickly reached forward, grabbing the edges of the hatch. Another swallow moved him deeper inside the other bear's mouth. He pushed off the hatch, half of himself landing on the tongue just in time for him to say, unusually urgently, "Grizz, no, WAIT-" before one last GLULLLP pulled him down.
Well there were a few more to go, but with that, Grizz was able to close his mouth to a much more comfortable size. His brother was secured in his maw and his lips closed, leaving Ice in darkness. Ice closed his eyes and tried to swat away the tongue that was so eager to get a taste as it slurped all over his chest and face. Before he could continue his escape attempt, the swallows resumed with ease. Ice flinched and grunted as the hot throat squeezed him down, tight enough that the vague shape of a bear muzzle was visible through Grizz's neck. Continuing downward, Ice could very audibly hear a heartbeat, and then finally a pop around him as he exited the esophagus and entered the stomach.
Grizz took a very well-deserved breath of relief. That was hard work. He looked down and realized the power cord was still hanging out, which he quickly slurped up like a loose noodle. He was pretty much on top of the fridge now that it was all in his belly. It looked like he was riding it, but he could definitely feel every inch of it inside him. And it was so so good. He let his arms and legs drape the sides of his gut, rubbing over it slightly as he massaged a nice buuuOOOruuup out of his system. Licking his lips, he recalled that Ice had barely made it out and looked down a little. He saw that the top of his belly, the bottom of the fridge, was lumpy with the shape of his brother. He patted the bulge on the head and said, "Soooorry bro! I was just SO hungry... But man, that might have been a little much."
Ice didn't at all like the stomach, as he said earlier. It was sweltering, acrid, and even more cramped than his fridge. He was still hanging out of the hatch awkwardly, top half laying on hot stomach walls while his lower half dangled in much cooler air. He really didn't appreciate the brief gust as Grizz belched nor the headpats as delivered by stomach walls. He said firmly, "Ice Bear. Is NOT. Food." The stomach around him gurgled and groaned a bit, not exactly agreeing with him, though it was having a hard time in its own way.
"No, of course not dude! I just wanted something to fill up my tum-tum for a while. I can let you out later but for now..." For now, he felt mostly pretty great! It was a little awkward, but other than some indigestion (which Grizz preferred since he wasn't planning to digest him) the level of fullness was divine. "Just chill in the fridge and you can get out in like, an hour?"
He grunted and then sighed. He was already in the stomach. He might as well wait. "Fine. Ice Bear will chill in fridge. Then Ice Bear will make great escape." He crawled backwards a bit and used his legs to quickly pull himself back into the fridge. Then he closed the hatch so that he could keep as much cold in for as long as possible. It was very awkward with the fridge on its side, but he managed to find a decent position. Grizz's voice sounded like mumbling through both the layers of stomach and fridge, but all the digestive noises were audible. It made for nice white noise, oddly. He opened his newspaper and started to read again to pass the time.
Outside, Grizz was in a mixed world of bliss and some queasiness. He couldn't move at all, but he was so happily full. But he could feel his stomach probing the fridge, trying to move it around with muscular walls to no real avail. His stomach groaned in complaint, since it wasn't getting anything this way. He let out a series of small sickly burps as it did. "Oh man, maybe this was a mistake... I should've found a way to eat just him. Uuuagh... But it still feels good... This is hard."
While he enjoyed his meal somewhat, he was starting to get bored just laying 'on' the fridge, on the kitchen floor. "Bro? Can you hear me?" He didn't receive any response, so he figured Ice probably couldn't hear inside the fridge. "Can't even have a conversation... I wonder if I can get to the TV somehow." He tried to rotate around, twisting to the side, but his stomach wouldn't budge. With a huff of annoyance, he gave up that too. Then he let out a big yawn. The amount of food- No, he corrected himself, just the amount of stuff in his belly was triggering that old urge to take a nice nap. He smacked his lips a little as his eyes started to feel heavy and decided that would be his way to pass the time, since neither he nor his stomach could do anything. He made a cradle of his arms and laid his head down in it and said, "Just let yourself out whenever you're ready, bro. I'm gonna take a nap." He figured it'd be fine since he was in the fridge, and then promptly conked out.
Ice Bear heard absolutely nothing he said within the past few minutes. Though it was hotter than he liked, he was doing okay relaxing and reading in the fridge. Grizz's indistinct voice simply joined the cacophony of the digestive system around him and he didn't bear it much mind. He couldn't exactly keep track of time, but he figured he'd be fine to get out after finishing his newspaper. A little hard in the dark, but better than trying to sleep. He was finishing up the business section when he heard his surroundings creak loudly.
He looked up and around, though he didn't notice anything too off from the inside. The stomach outside was groaning and squelching against the fridge, but that was to be expected. He decided to shrug it off and continue reading. But right as he started the next section, another loud screech of plastic and metal took him back out of it. This was becoming alarming. He inspected the inside of the fridge and realized that the corners, especially closest to the top and bottom of the fridge, looked like they were being crushed from outside.
Maybe it was time to get out. He put away his newspaper and turned back to the bottom hatch, once again twisting it open. The stomach was much noisier than the fridge let him believe, gurgling and rumbling as its walls tried to churn down the large appliance. Beyond that, he could tell Grizz was breathing in a very slow, relaxed way. He asked, "Grizz?"
In response he heard, "SNNNNNNK mimimimimi," and Grizz scratched his tummy a bit.
Realizing that his brother was asleep, Ice decided it was definitely time to get out. He looked down from the hatch, to the bottom of the stomach. He could tell stomach acids were pooling up. He wasn't sure how much Grizz's stomach could actually digest, but it wasn't something he wanted to test. He once again climbed out halfway, his head pushing into convulsing stomach walls and jutting out rather visibly from outside of Grizz. He just needed to find that lower esophageal sphincter, though that was hard to do when the walls kept shifting and everything seemed real eager to work at actual meat.
Luckily for him, he did manage to find it after a few difficult minutes. He strained to do so, especially with the impossible to grip flesh all around, but he finally managed to pry open his exit. It was fortunate that Grizz was laying flat the way that he was, as it made it easier for him to climb into it. He would miss the cool fridge, but much better to bear a horribly hot and tight tunnel than become bear fat.
As he crawled back up the gullet, it was hard to keep track of how much progress he was making despite the linear path. It kept instinctively trying to move him back down and he thought he was making more progress than not but he couldn't be sure. Grizz was passed out, deep into a food coma, but even in sleep he could still feel the disturbance of something bothering his throat. He kept trying to swallow but it just wouldn't go away. In his mind he imagined a particularly difficult burrito, one of those big ones from the restaurant. It would feel so good, if only he could just actually get it down...
Ice was exhausted from the climb, the constant slipping, the heat, and just how much strength Grizz's body was exerting to keep its food down. After some unknown amount of time, he managed to pass another sphincter and appeared once again in his brother's mouth. Escape was so close. He could see the outside grow and shrink as Grizz snored. Just a little more. As he reached his paw forward, placing it on the tongue, everything seemed to freeze. He stopped being pulled and Grizz stopped snoring. Was he awake? Then his wide tongue arched up, pushing his paw back and blocking his view of the outside. A very firm GLUCK pulled him back down.
Grizz, in his sleep, sighed happily as his mouth and throat were once again free of blockage. Ice slid right back down into that stomach he had just left as he didn't have any strength left. He was wadded up against the top of the fridge as he re-entered the stomach, which sounded thrilled to have him back. Grizz even sleepily rubbed him from outside. The fridge wasn't very cool at all by now, but he decided to climb back in anyway. Maybe it would help him last long enough for Grizz to wake up again and actually let him out. He could only hope, anyway. He climbed back in and re-sealed the hatch. As he settled, he noticed some liquid was pooling on the inside too and that the door seal was pretty much gone. "Ice Bear hopes Grizz wakes up very soon."
*/^\*
Some time later, Grizz woke up to his own loud BUUUUUWWWORRRRRRUUUUP. He said, "Whew, that was a nice nap. I hope whoever's inside me was okay with becoming extra pudge." It was dark out now and he was still on the kitchen floor. He yawned, then took inventory of his surroundings. Most notably, the fridge was clearly ripped out of the ground. "Oh crud the fridge! Ice!" He got up immediately to check his belly, though he felt that it was too easy to get up. His gut sloshed heavily as he did, an odd mix of solid and thick liquids present inside. The sudden movement made him burp again.
"Um, Ice? Bro? You there?" His stomach was no longer a very clearly outlined fridge, but a very round, smooth, and sagging blob that still smushed against the ground. He grabbed his belly with both paws, probing around to see if there was anything bear-like in there. Some very solid chunks of what was probably the fridge, since it was so angular, though it apparently melted down for the most part. But no Ice Bear. At least not in solid form.
"Ahh, jeez, sorry bro. But you WERE filling, so thanks?" His stomach blurbled in reply, agreeing about the filling aspect. He felt awkward standing around in the kitchen by himself, but he was still tired. He started to waddle to his bed, dragging his belly as he did. "Man, I can't believe I managed to digest an entire fridge. I wonder if I can handle other stuff like that...? I kinda wish I recorded it now." As he reached his bed, he lifted up his gut and heaved it on top before he got on. The bed creaked for a moment, then the frame promptly collapsed in a heap under Grizz's current weight. "Oh man, my bed! I'm gonna be so fat after tomorrow. Ugh." He laid down on the mattress, belly still hanging off the side. "Small price to pay for so much yummy food though... Not to mention I get to keep my bros with me." He gripped his paunch and shook it a bit, smiling as he started to doze off once again. "Good night guys."
