Voretober 2022 - NIGHTMARE
Story Information
Holly groggily came to life in bed. The reindeer had a bad habit of waking up early, but it wasn’t something she could control. At least her girlfriend was still asleep. Dorina was a cute little swan, but a heavy sleeper. Tended to spread her wings all over the bed too. Holly gave her a little kiss on the head, making her stir slightly. Then she got up and headed to the kitchen to look for something for breakfast.
She drowsily flicked on the light as she walked into the kitchen. It was still dark out, although she couldn’t tell what time it was. The microwave clock had reset again and she didn’t feel like getting her phone. She walked over to the fridge and swung it open, revealing that they had... nothing. It was actually completely empty, somehow. Restocking must’ve really slipped their mind. She just groaned as her stomach did, and closed the door.
Freezer was empty too. She was honestly surprised she didn’t find at least some ancient loose pre-packaged thing. But now she was starting to panic at the possibility they had no food whatsoever. She started opening cabinets in a rush, not even bothering to close doors before moving onto the next one. But there was no food to be found in any of them. Not even so much as seasoning.
Her stomach growled terribly as she finished her search. It felt like it was going to cave in. She decided she was going to have to drive somewhere. She hurriedly put some clothes on and grabbed their keys, only to walk out and realize... Their car wasn’t there. She smacked her face as she remembered it was in the shop, and a friend of hers was supposed to drive her to pick it up later that day.
Walking back in the house, she laid back against the door in defeat as her gut grumbled like an earthquake. She didn’t know why she was famished, but she felt like she was going to die of starvation if she didn’t have something. But, there was nothing. So she decided to try and go back to sleep. Maybe the feeling would pass, at least until someone was actually awake to help her get something.
Dorina was still dead asleep as she walked back into their bedroom. Even with her belly bellowing for food, the swan hardly moved. Holly leaned over and kissed her on the head again before getting back into bed. But then she froze above her head. It could hardly even be qualified as a taste, but... she’d gotten a smack of something that tasted good. Really good.
Holly looked at Dorina’s peaceful, sleepy expression and decided to risk it. She dragged her tongue across the side of her face, getting a mouthful of flavor. Her girlfriend gave her an unconscious, weak smack as she pushed the disturbance away, but Holly got what she wanted to check. Dorina tasted good. Fantastic, even. There was nothing like her. And her stomach growled loudly, wanting something substantial to come from it.
She... she knew what she wanted to do. What she wanted so badly. What her body wanted so badly. Even if they had been together so long and known each other even longer before that, right now, this was all she wanted. She walked over to Dorina’s feet sticking out beyond the blanket. Hopefully she wouldn’t wake up until she was done. Then she stuck those webbed feet in her mouth.
Her girlfriend’s savory flavor hit her almost immediately. It was so much more delicious than anything she’d ever had, and she just had to have more. She swallowed those feet whole, pulling Dorina down the bed as she started her descent. Every inch of the swan’s body was just as appetizing as the last. Holly found herself mentally apologizing over and over, but she just couldn’t deny how good she tasted. She couldn’t just have a little, she needed all of her.
It wasn’t until Dorina could feel reindeer teeth wrapped around her neck that she woke up. She mumbled, “Dear, I don’t feel like playing right now...” Holly froze for a moment, but she was almost finished with her breakfast. Not to mention what was still laying on her tongue begged her to swallow more. She obliged her body with yet another gulp, pulling the swan in further. She finally roused around properly, saying, “Darling I said--”
The two girlfriends made eye contact at last. Dorina’s entire body was gone, replaced by the head of her girlfriend. Holly smiled awkwardly, as much as she could with her mouth full, and then swallowed again. Almost immediately she could feel wings struggling to flap low in her throat. She gave her best apologetic look, to which Dorina said, “H-Holly, let me out right now, this isn’t funny!!”
It wasn’t funny, Holly felt bad about it too. But she was just absolutely starving, and there was only one thing to eat in the house. She finally reached her girlfriend’s head, holding it gently inside her mouth. She couldn’t see her but she heard her say, “Hol--” before she swallowed one last time. She couldn’t resist any longer. She laid back on the carpet as her meal slid down her throat, at long last gathering in her stomach.
The satisfying bulge in her belly started to flail around now, but it didn’t stop it from feeling so good. “I-I’m sorry Dorina, I was just so hungry, and you were so yummy...” She hoped it wasn’t too awful in her belly. She sounded mostly angry, but Holly just felt sad. Sad that it had to come to this, after five years of being together! She didn’t even eat meat. But her stomach was already gurgling happily, eager to break down this unusual breakfast. Their alarm finally started going off too. If only she had woken up with it, instead of earlier...
Holly groggily came to life in bed. She smacked the blaring alarm next to her, and then heard her girlfriend yawn on her other side. Holly turned, shocked but overjoyed to see her alive and well. She planted a kiss right on her head with a little more force than usual. Dorina just drowsily said, “Someone’s happy to see me,” with a smile. “I’m surprised you didn’t wake up early as usual.”
“I’m... surprised too. I just had an awful dream...”
“Well, it’s gone now.” The swan gave her a kiss on the forehead, and then a gentle smack on her tummy. “You’re getting a little chubby, dear. Too many potatoes?”
Holly’s eyes grew wide. She turned and looked down at her stomach. Rather than the slim, flat thing it usually was, it had a clear curve to it. It growled a little, but not from hunger.
Dorina laughed at her girlfriend’s stunned expression and said, “Lighten up Hol, I didn’t mean anything by it. I just wonder what you ate to give you that, that’s all.”
Holly smacked her lips, trying to think of a response. She could faintly taste Dorina on her lips. “I’m... not sure either,” she answered.
